Allen Superior Court Judge one of two Fort Wayne attorneys honored

Fort Wayne, Ind. – Allen Superior Court Judge Craig J. Bobay has been named a “Distinguished Barrister” by The Indiana Lawyer, a trade publication covering Courts and the legal profession.

The annual list spotlights 30 distinguished legal practitioners and emerging attorneys in the state’s legal community. Bobay was one of only two Allen County attorneys named to the list, which also includes retiring Indiana Supreme Court Justice Brent Dickson.

“It is exciting to shine a light on the many innovative things that are taking place in the Courts here in Allen County,” Bobay said. “Improving the delivery of justice in our community is a continuous process. I’m honored to be considered as an example of that commitment.”

Indiana Lawyer spotlighted Bobay’s leadership in the state’s new Commercial Court initiative as well as his work with the Judicial Conference of Indiana. Allen County is one of just six sites statewide where Commercial Courts will begin this summer. The publication also recognized his reputation as a writer for state and local bar publications and his love of history.
