The Allen Superior Court Family Relations Division is accepting applications for an Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity (ICLEO) clerkship.

Resumes will be accepted through March 30, 2022, from current law school students only. Interested applicants must be statutorily eligible to apply under Indiana Code 33-24-13-2.

The successful applicant will take part in all aspects of the Family Relations Division, including:

• Performing legal research
• Assisting with proceedings
• Drafting court orders
• Participating in mediation and arbitration
• Assisting pro-se litigants and the general public as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned by the Judge

The ICLEO clerk will report to Judge Lori K. Morgan. Term of the position is 8 weeks, beginning in May 2022. Start date is flexible, dependent on the successful applicant’s availability. The rate of pay will be $22 per hour. Allen Superior Court’s work week is 37.5 hours.

This position is ineligible for health insurance. The position is eligible for paid holidays according to the schedule approved by the Allen Superior Court Board of Judges. Pursuant to I.C. 33-33-2-14 and Allen Superior Court policy, all Court employees serve at the pleasure of the Court.
