By Indiana law, the Allen Circuit Court has original and concurrent jurisdiction in all civil cases and in all criminal cases and de novo appellate jurisdiction of appeals from city and town courts in Allen County. The Allen Circuit Court also has appellate jurisdiction that the law may confer upon it.
Pursuant to Allen County local rules and case allocation requirements, the Allen Circuit Court specifically hears domestic relations cases, paternity/IV-D cases, mortgage foreclosure cases, civil cases, and felony OWI and habitual traffic violators criminal cases.
